本课学习结束之后,学生能够: 1.能够理解并正确朗读对话内容。 2.能用“When is the ..?”“Can you tell me more about…?” “What are ..?”等句型询问中秋节的日期、饮食、传统活动等信息并做出相应回答。 3. 能听懂、会说、认读中秋节the Mid-Autumn Festival、重阳节the Double Ninth Festival、元宵节the Lantern Festival、端午节the Dragon Boat Festival等专有词汇。 4.能够初步了解和区别中国四个重要传统节日的特色食品、传统活动及其相关表达。了解中秋节的内在意义,体会出中秋节是全家团圆的节日。 教学重点: 1. 对传统节日及其农历日期的认读和理解。 2. 在实际交流情境中,对“When is...? Warming up | Brain storming T: Good morning, boys and girls. Welcome to my English class! Today, we are going to learn Unit 3 Lesson 9. What are we going to talk about ? Ss: Festivals. T: That’s right. We are going to talk about Chinese festivals. What festival do you like? [ T shows some pictures about festivals,Ss try to talk about their favourite festivals. ] 【设计意图】 开篇点题,激活学生对本课话题“传统节日”的学习兴趣。 | |||||||
Presentation | 1. Lead in: T: Look at the pictures, who are they? Where are they? What are they doing? T: Yes, they are making moon cakes. Wow, they look delicious. Do you like moon cakes? 【设计意图】 通过观察主题图,培养学生观察、分析、合理推测会话 内容的能力。 2. Generally know about the Mid-Autumn Festival T: Remember Sara is from USA, she doesn’t know much about the Chinese festivals,so she wonders which festival it is. (播放课文视频 ) Ss: the Mid-Autumn Festival. T: What can you think about the Mid-Autumn Festivals? Ss: Answer. T: They are the symbol of the Mid-Autumn Festival. 3. Know about the Mid-Autumn Festival in details [ T shows Ss the mind map. ] T: When we talk about a festival, for example, the Mid-Autumn Festival, we will think about the symbol. We will also think about the time and the activities. When is it? What do people do on that day? Let’s watch again.
