一、教学内容：

Part A Let’s learn Let’s chant

Drills : Who is he/she? His/Her name is… . He is tall and strong.

New words: strong, friendly, quiet, his, her.

二、教学目标：

A．知识目标：

(1）学生能够听懂、说出、认读单词：strong, friendly, quiet, his, her.

(2）学生能听懂、说出、认读句子：Who is he/she? His/Her name is… . He is tall and strong.

B．能力目标：

1）能够正确使用所学单词描述人物的性格和外貌特征。

2）能够熟练运用句型He’s… .介绍人物的性格和外貌特征。

3）能够使用Who is he/she? 询问他人姓名，并能回答。

C．情感目标：能够了解外貌描述中的文化禁忌，不能嘲笑同学长得胖、廋、高、矮等。

三、教学重、难点分析

1．重点是能够听、说、读Let’s learn 部分六个单词；并能用所学单词描述人物的性格和外貌特征。

2．难点是能够运用句型He’s/ She’s….介绍人物的性格和外貌特征以及单词quiet正确发音。

四、学生学情分析

四年级学生易动，注意力不会持久。用学生熟悉的人物来呈现新知可以吸引学生注意力。三年级时学过简单地描述人物外貌。本课时是其知识的延展，运用学生已有的知识来学习新知识可以增强学生的自信心。

五、教学准备

1．准备多媒体课件。

2．准备Let’s learn的教学挂图。

3．准备按正确格式书写的 Let’s learn 的单词卡片。

六、教学步骤

Step 1 Warm-up

English song

Play the tape for the Ss to listen and sing.

Step 2 Pesentation

Present drill.

Teacher shows some students’ pictures and ask :Who is he/ she? Help the Ss answer: He/She is tall/short/fat/thin. After that present sentence His /Her name is… . like the following: He is …=His name is… . She is =Her name is… . Put up the words cards on the whiteboard.

Practice drills: Who is he/she? His/Her name is… . in the class. Practice in pairs, teacher will give the Ss some help necessary.

Present new words.

Ask the Ss to look at three pictures, a quiet girl, a friendly boy and a strong boy. And then try to describe their personality (性格)using drill : She is quiet , he is friendly , he is strong. Put up the word cards on the whiteboard.

Step 3 Practice

A．Let’s play多媒体出示几个学生图像，请学生根据图片用所学巨型描述各人情况。给回答正确的同学书上盖上 “Good”奖章。

2.放Let’s learn部分的录音，让学生听一遍之后跟读。老师再教读，纠正学生没有读对或没有读准的音。尤其是句子意群的停顿、连读和重读。

B．Let’s chant. 放录音学生跟读，然后学生打着节拍齐读。

Step4 Game

Find out my good friend. 请五位同学到前面来，让其中的一位描述他的好朋友的外貌和性格，他有权利请班里任何一个人（包括老师）找出他的朋友。如果到正确的朋友就可以得到“Good job”奖章，否者就要被罚用身体写自己的名字。

Step 4 Homework

1. 按照格式抄写单词。每个单词抄写六遍，汉语意思只写一遍。

2．回家后试着用我们今天学的句型给爸爸妈妈介绍自己的好朋友。

3. 预习下一课时的内容。
