一、教学内容
单词学习：season、spring、summer、fall、winter
句型问答：What’s your favorite season?What’s the weather like in__?
二、设计思路
围绕season这一主题利用图片，激发学生的学习兴趣，并通过guess游戏，chant、小组合作等方式充分调动学生的积极性，在完成听、说、读、写任务的同时达到交际的目的。
三、教学目标
1、知识目标：学习单词season、spring、summer、fall、winter。使用句型：“What’s your favorite season?”和“ What’s the weather like in __?”进行提问，并能根据实际情况回答。
2、能力目标：培养学生运用英语进行交流的能力。
3、情感目标：培养学生小组合作意识，并培养学生善于观察生活、善于总结归纳的良好习惯，同时让学生珍惜时间努力学习。
四、教学重点
1、学习单词：season、spring、summer、fall、winter。
2、句型：“What’s your favorite season?和“ What’s the weather like in__ ?”及其回答。
五、教学难点
运用句型：“What’s your favorite season?和“ What’s the weather like in __?” 进行实际问答。
六、教学方法 情景教学法、任务型教学法、游戏法、小组合作法等。
七、教具准备 录音机、课件、单词卡片、图画。
八、教学过程
（一）Warming up
1、Greetings
2、教师通过简笔画，复习有关天气的形容词，如:warm、hot、cool、cold等。教师引导学生可以边听边根据该形容词做出相应的动作。
3、教师和单个学生进行回答: What’s your favorite fruit/colour?
（简单问候营造轻松学习英语气氛，通过复习旧知识导入新课）
（二）Presentation
课件展示春、夏、秋、冬四幅图片。
1、T says：Today，we will learn seasons。 look! There are four seasons in a year.课件呈现单词season 让学生跟随电脑读单词season,并拼读单词season。
2、课件呈现出一幅春季图。
T：points to the picture and asks:What season is it?
课件在春季图下面呈现单词spring。让学生跟随电脑读单词spring，并拼读单词spring。然后教师指着春季图又问：What’s the weather like in spring?
（让单个学生回答：It’s warm.）
3、利用课件呈现出夏季图，秋季图、冬季图。教师用同样的方法教授单词summer、fall和winter以及问答句型：What’s the weather like in summer/fall/winter?（利用图片引入新词很直观，能激发学生学习兴趣）
（三）Practice
1、比赛：以组为单位，开火车读新单词。如第1小组每个同学都读season这个单词，假如每个同学都读准了，就可以为本组赢得一个笑脸。
2、Guessing游戏：Teacher gives pupils some direction and let them guess“Which season is it? For example: It’s hot ,you can eat ice cream.叫最先举手的同学回答，说对了可以为本组赢得一个笑脸。
（通过游戏、开火车比赛读和猜季节游戏既可以巩固新知识，同时激发了学生的兴趣）
4、课件再次呈现春、夏、秋、冬四幅图，叫两学生对每幅图进行问答：
What season is it? What’s the weather like in…？
（学生两两同学谈论每图时，教师可给学生5分钟时间练习说，然后以大组为单位，点两同学站起来展示他们的对话，根据各组表现得笑脸）
5、let’s chant
let’s students look at the pictures and chant after the tape。
（chant有助于学习记忆季节单词，同时培养了学生的语感）
（四）问与答（ask and answer）
首先教师创设情景导入对话：
a: What’s your favorite season? b: Spring.
其次，教师组织问答游戏，学生齐问，个别答。
最后，教师全班分成两部分，一部分问，另一部分答或反过来。接着，叫两两同学做对话练习。（教师给学生2分钟练习时间）最后，以组为单位叫两两同学展示他们的对话，根据各组表现予以奖励。
（通过师生对话、生生对话来培养学生实际运用语言的能力）
（五）Sing an English song “What’s your favorite season?”
listen and enjoy the song
(Aims: make use of songs that are connected with content,to attract pupils’ attention to generate their interest)
（歌曲教学既巩固了新知识，又激发了学生英语学习兴趣）
（六）Homework
①Remember the words and copy them 7 times each.
②以“My favorite season ”为题目，写五句话。
（作业设计既让学生巩固了新知，还让学生锻炼了绘画、写作能力）
