Step1 Introduction 1. Get students ready for learning. 2. Revision: Teacher reviews key points about the two families: Live with; love... very much; be strict with; in the same community; prepare...for...;go jogging；live alone；hold a party. Step2 Warming up T: Can you tell me something different in names between China and English speaking countries? S1:... S2:... Step3 Pre-reading Q: Why do people put family name and given name in different orders? Step3 First -reading T: Find out the answer to the question and the main idea of the two paragraph. S1：（answer）Family names are so important to us because they tell who our ancestors are and where we are from. S2: (Para.1): The reasons why people put family name and given name in different orders. (Para.2): How people in and abroad name their children? Step4:Second-reading 1.Read together.
