摘要:词汇、语音、语法是语言的三大要素。词汇是语言的最基本的建筑材料,是语言最主要的组成部分。一口流利的英语离不开大量的词汇积累。学生掌握的词汇越多,运用语言的能力就越强。因此,在小学英语词汇教学中,教师通过多种教学方法,使枯燥的词汇教学变得直观性、趣味性,从而提高学生对英语的学习的积极性。关键词:词汇教学 直观性 趣味性 合作性 反复性 有效性
小学英语的课时较少,每周只有三节,每课要掌握的词汇量不少。如何让学生在有限的时间内掌握一定数量的词汇,是小学英语教学的重要任务之一。自然教学法的倡导人特蕾西认为:词汇学习对于理解语言和言语输出都至关重要。有了足够的词汇量,对要表达的内容才能脱口而出。词汇教学是小学英语教学的一个重点,也是一个难点。小学生的注意力较难集中,容易产生厌倦感。那么在小学英语教学中如何进行有效的词汇教学呢?下面让我来谈谈自己在词汇教学中的几点体会:
一.利用多媒体直观形象地教学词汇,激发学生的学习兴趣。
心理学家赫瑞特拉的实验表明:人类获取的信息有83%来自视觉。恰当地运用图片可以帮助学生将词的音、行、义结合起来,使词汇的学习相对来说比较轻松。小学生天性活泼好动,他们喜欢生动有趣的的图片。因此,在课堂中教师可以通过实物、图画、动作手势或图片配动作等来进行教学。特别是多媒体更能帮助学生形象生动地学习和掌握词汇。例如,《开心学英语》第8册unit7 i had a bad day!

caugut a cold 这个短语可以用多媒体,更可以用动作来让学生理解。在教学中也可以借助图片通过提问教单词或短语,如出示上图,提问学生:what happened to the boy? 然后引出caugut a cold或lost his keys。利用多媒体用通过图片或动作来教学单词,能激发学生的学习兴趣。
二.利用、歌谣,提高词汇教学的趣味性。
“是的天性。”在游戏中获取知识是学生喜闻乐见的学习方式。游戏化教学让学生乐于接受、并有助于学生有效地学习单词,符合小学生活泼好动的年龄特点。游戏,既可以让学生在轻松的气氛中掌握并运用新词汇,又可培养他们对学习英语的兴趣。例如,在词汇教学和巩固阶段,可让学生玩“magic eyes ”游戏。课前做好词汇的ppt,把图片快速的闪过,看哪个学生能快速地说出单词,说得既快又准的学生获胜。通过一闪而过的图片考察学生对生词音、形的掌握情况。学生参与活动的积极性很高。巧编歌谣,把新授词汇放在自编的歌谣中让学生在有节奏的吟唱过程中、在轻松的气氛中熟悉新词,同时增强词汇教学的趣味性,也能培养了学生对学习英语词汇的兴趣。例如,在教学开心学英语第7册 unit 11 let’s go to space!时,学习了有关太空知识后,我用所学的知识编了如下歌谣: jupiter, jupiter,the biggest planet.sun, sun,the hottest thing.earth, earth,we live on the earth.moon,moon,smaller than the earth.star, star,look at the star.学生边唱歌谣,边有节奏地拍掌,很容易就能记住所学的词汇。在词汇教学中除了关注学生的学习兴趣外,教师还要适当传授记忆的方法和诀窍,如记忆的组织策略、精加工策略等,帮助学生提高记忆词汇的能力。
三.小组合作学习,巩固和运用所学的知识
语言学习的目的是为了交流,而合作是交流的前提,也是交流的目的。生本教育强调了“发展学生自主学习的能力与合作精神”。合作学习既可以促进学生互相交流、共同发展,又可以培养学生合作解决问题的能力和习惯。为了培养学生自主学习的能力和合作精神,小组之间的合作学习在小学英语词汇教学中起着重要的作用。
例如,在教学a piece of candy,a bag of chips,a pair of socks等短语和句型what did you get at the store? did tony get a piece of candy at the store? yes,i did./no,i didn,t.我设计了以下的表格,让学生四人小组运用本课所学的词汇、句型进行问答练习。ann lily peter kim
例如:ann:what did you get at the store? lily:i got a bag of chips.peter:did you buy a pair of socks at the store? kim: yes,i did.除了课堂上的小组合作学习外,我门还可以让学生课外合作完成老师布置的任务,比如小组合作完成一些介绍型的任务,调查型的任务、创造型的任务等,给学生以词汇实践的舞台。如,学习了sunny, rainy, cloudy等天气词汇之后,可以布置的任务是“当一名电视台的气象播报员”;又如学习了on foot, by bus, by subway等词汇,可以让学生完成本班学生出行方式的调查任务;再如学习了bedroom, bathroom, kitchen等单词后,让学生为自己设计一个理想的家,绘成平面图,并向大家介绍自己的设计。
通过小组合作的练习,既能充分调动学生学习英语的积极性,激励学生的参与意识和协作能力,实现课堂教学交际化,又能巩固和运用所学的词汇、句型。在练习的过程中学生培养了合作意识和团队精神,感受到集体智慧的力量,分享了成功的喜悦,真正体验到学习的快乐和做作业的乐趣。
四、对于重点词汇,在课堂教学中要多重复
“艾宾浩遗忘曲线”告诉我们,初次学习过后20分钟,记忆的内容遗忘很快,保持下来的内容仅为58.2%;一小时后为44.2%。因此,在词汇教学中教师要有意识地创造语境,以不同的形式反复使用当堂所学重点词汇,让学生在活动中有机会听到单词、大声说出单词、运用单词。当记忆的信息刚要忘还没有遗忘的时候,即使强化巩固,比信息完全忘掉了以后再复习要节省很多时间。同时,在教学活动中,教师要有意识地不断重复重点词汇,让学生在倾听和运用中逐步掌握重点词汇。
总之,在小学英语词汇教学中,我们可以通过多媒体多利用图片、动作来进行教学,激发学生的学习积极性、通过游戏、歌谣提高词汇教学的趣味性、通过小组合作练习,巩固和运用所学的词汇、句型, 在词汇教学活动中,有意识地不断重复重点词汇,让学生在倾听和运用中逐步掌握重点词汇。我们尽可能根据教学内容、教学目标、小学生的年龄特点,尽量采取丰富多样的教学形式,激发他们的学习兴趣,调动他们的学习积极性,以达到课堂教学的最佳效果。参考文献:1、章兼中《外语教育学》,浙江教育出版社,1992年 2、教育部《英语新课程标准解读》,北京师范大学出版社,2002年

大家好,很高兴能和大家一起分享我的思路。今天我要分析的内容是pep教材三年级下册,第4单元do you like pears的 a let’s learn 部分。该部分主要是掌握四个有关水果的单词 分别为 peach pear watermelon orange.这四种水果均为学生非常熟悉,也非常喜爱的东西。所以学生对该部分的内容本身赋有极强的兴趣。美国现代心理学家布鲁纳说过:“学习最好的刺激乃是对学习材料发生兴趣。兴趣是一种特殊的意志倾向,是动机产生的重要的主观原因。良好的兴趣是学习活动的自觉动力。另外,本部分还有一个重点句型是it tastes good!由于it tastes 存在不爆破现象。对于三年纪学生来说,要读准确实比较困难。因此我会采取从词到句分层教学的原则。将句子化难为易。另外已我个人对教材的了解。本部分被编排在第二课时。但在第一课时就需要用到这些单词。因此我会对教学顺序进行调整。将该部分放在第一课时教授。并穿插句型do you like? 进行教授,实现教学中的词不离句原则。基于以上对教材的了解和分析。我制定了如下的教学步骤:教学内容: 一、教学目标要求
1、能听,说,认读本课时水果单词: watermelon, peach, pear, orange, 以及句子it tastesgood。
2、能听懂、会说本单元句型(do you like…? yes,i do./no,idon’t),要求模仿正确、语调自然,基本上能够在实际中运用句型会话。
3、了解有关上述水果的生长环境(包括水果树的认识),增长学 生见识。
4.培养学生运用英语进行交流的能力,培养学生的观察力 5.培养学生热爱自然的美好情感。二、教学重点:教学单词、句型。三、教学难点
1.听懂、会说本课时句型,并能在实际情景中运用。
2.句型:it tastes good.的理解与掌握。tastes 的发音,以及 it tastes 的不爆破发音。
当然,如何更好的达到教学目标,掌握重点,突破难点关键是看有没有一个正确的教学方法。
另外评价也是课堂教学的有效组成部分。本课时形成性评价贯穿课堂的始终。以赏识性评价为主,采用great wonderful welldone等评语并给予小帖纸奖励 以此来培养学生自信,提高学习热情。下面我重点说说教学过程 : 一 warm up
sing songs(how areyou colour song)通过课前的热身活动,拉近师生间的情感距离,消除学生的紧张心理,愉乐心情,为投入本课的学习创造积极的心理状态。同时歌词为有关颜色的内容,为下一环节颜色卡的呈现做铺垫。
free talk这个环节我采用一种游戏的方式进行。呈现各种不同的颜色卡,卡后面有不同的问题,学生自行选择一张作答。这样通过选题的方式来复习旧知,将平时简单的freetalk 变得更有趣味性,学生更易于接受和参与。同时为呈现新单词orange做了自然铺垫,增加新旧知识的联系。)二 presentation
此部分主要呈现四个单词 依次为 orange peach pearwatermelon 先通过free talk 环节的提问 what do you like ?让学生猜老师喜欢什么?运用do youlike 句型来提问。这样既可以自然的引出orange 又能给学生提供运用 句型的机会。
通过猜测我的猴子喜欢吃什么引出peach在呈现该单词时教师一开始并不告诉学生读法,让学生自己根据字母的发音规则猜测,并在适当时用嘴型提示。让学生自己读出单词。并给以适当的鼓励,这样学生便能充分体会成功的喜悦。调动学生激情,使其由被动获得信息,转换成主动获得信息主动学习。
在呈现pear 时 先是紧接上一环节,让学生欣赏桃花,让学生学会欣赏大自然的美人爱大自然。然后用梨花替换桃花。让学生通过比较得出那是梨花。继而学习pear.这样既达到了对新单词的呈现,又让学生学会观察比较。增加生活常识.考虑到it tastes good需要较强的情景性。我从经济方便的角度,使用了实物 pear,并将其切成片,请喜爱 pear的学生品尝。并问:is it good?学生会说 :it ‘s good.然后自各也品尝说道:“en ,it tastesgood!“ 并配上夸张的表情,这样学生便自然领会该句的含义。考虑到该句比较难度。我采用了分组读的方式。让一两组读 it二三两组读tastes 四组读good!根据老师的手势分工将句子读完整。然后再合起来读。这样能化难为简让学生,让学生在这种趣味的操练中,克服难点。
最后是通过一个找pear 的方式 引出watermelon.具体为 呈现四个不同颜色的盒子让学生跟具颜色猜猜哪个是pear。其他颜色的又是什么?从而得出绿色是watermelon.并结合句型操练。以上的各个单词和短语均采用不同的呈现方式。使教学有趣不枯燥,老老的抓住学生兴趣。有利于课堂教学的实施。三 practice.该部分我猜用了两个游戏
一是 高低音读单词。
二是利用石头剪子布的游戏 让学生用pear watermelon orange peach按照一定的 节奏诵读。替换石头剪子布的口令进行猜拳。赢得同学可以勾一下输的同学的鼻子并提问do you like? 回答不则再勾起鼻子。
通过这两种游戏能将机械的操练变的有趣。让学生在玩中熟练的掌握单词的发音,巩固所学内容。四make a survey
运用所学知识对自己的朋友进行调查,了解他们爱吃的水果。每人发一分调查表,并准备水果卡片。可进行如下对话 如:do you like pears?
yes i do.have some pears.thankyou.语言学家克鲁姆说过:“成功的外语课堂教学应当创造更多的条件,让学生有机会运用所学到的语言材料。”调查同伴所喜爱的水果,最大程度地调动学生的积极性和主动性,让他们专注于所学进一步巩固所学。让学生体验学以至用的乐趣,从根本上培养学生对英语的持久兴趣。)tep6 extansion

回家作业的布置应取之生活,用于生活。让学生感受到英语的学习和中文一样,可以在生活中不断地发现与运用。也只有反复地使用才能使知识的掌握更牢固,语言的运用更自如。另外第三项作业运用所学的句子和单词与亲朋好友交谈,目的也在于使学生把所学知识真正运用到生活当中,把英语学习融入日常生活,并把学习英语的快乐带给身边的人,既是英语的学习者,又成为小小传播者,在体验成功的过程中不断进步。
最后,我想说的是课堂教学的目标决不知识掌握语言技能,而应该是通过智慧的教学使课堂时刻激荡智慧的浪花。在这一方面,作为教师,我门还须做长足的努力。

十二.reflection after teaching(教学反思)
本节课在多媒体的辅助下,一方面以直观的图片激发学生学习的兴趣,另一方面以课件形式展示,节约了书写的时间,一节课的时间虽紧凑但却能借助于多媒体安排更多的内容,能更加顺利地完成不同的任务设置skimming(跳读)和scanning(查读),培养学生的阅读技巧,教会学生更快更准的找到问题的答案和有效的信息。
在活动中主要让学生独立完成各项任务,达到了英语阅读的训练目的。但是,本堂课也还存在一些不足,需要加以改进:
1.由于本堂课任务多,容量大,导致完成任务时间较紧,在pre-reading部分耗时过多,任务间过渡不够自然,今后应注意教学步骤间的紧密衔接。
2.本节课注重学生阅读技巧的训练,在一定程度上培养了他们的阅读能力,但课文知识内容拓展不够。
3.多媒体的使用虽然带来了诸多方便,但同时呈现的内容过多,能让学生记住的东西却反而少。
