Good morning, profeor.It is my pleasure to have this opportunity for an interview ,and I hope I can make a good performance today.Now, please let me introduce myself briefly.My name is DingChen.I’m 24 years old and I come from AnQing ,where is a beautiful country of huanmei.There are four members in my family, my parents ,my brother and me, my father is a teacher ,my mother is a worker, and my brother is a sailor.my major is mathematics and applied mathematics in---------.I will get my bachelor’s degree this July.During my college time ,I have learned some courses about math andliterature.Besides, in my spare time ,I have broad interests like many other youngsters.I like reading books,playing basketball tennis and Chinese che.All these activities enrich my college life.Well, it’s the point that I’d like to say something about my character, I’m a hard-working person especially for doing what I’m interested in.I’ll try my best to manage it no matter how difficult it is, both in study and work, for example, when I prepared for my entrance exam for postgraduates schools , I knew my English was not very well, so I took a lot of time to study it.At last, the mark reached the national level.Furthermore, I’m a person with great perseverance.Never say give up.As my math was just so so before, in order to make it batter, I have insisted spending some time studying it, though, it’s hard and boring inthis proce.even disgusting, but I have never given up.In the result, my math improved quickly and I become more and more interested in it.If I could be lucky to be one number of this great university, I will concentrate on my study and make great efforts to learn.And I promise that I could never let you down.Ok that’s all, thank you for giving me the chance and thank you for your attention.

General Introduction
I am a third year master major in automation at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, P.R.China.With tremendous interest in Industrial Engineering, I am writing to apply for acceptance into your Ph.D.graduate program.Education background
In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology(NUST)--widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools.During the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department.I was granted First Cla Prize every semester,In 1999, I got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admiion test.At the period of my graduate study, my overall GPA(3.77/4.0)ranked top 5% in the department.In the second semester, I became teacher aistant that is given to talented and matured students only.This year, I won the Acer Scholarship as the one and only candidate in my department, which is the ultimate accolade for distinguished students endowed by my university.Presently, I am preparing my graduation thesis and trying for the honor of

When a sophomore, I joined the Aociation of AI Enthusiast and began to narrow down my interest for my future research.With the tool of OpenGL and Matlab, I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system.It is now widely used by different research groups in NUST.I aumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant.This was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and experience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D.program.My future research interests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research(especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.

自我介绍
成长环境：
家庭环境：本人出生于一个农村普通的家庭，父亲和母亲都是老实的农民。母亲从小对我十分严厉，教育我要好好做人、好好读书，将来做一个对社会有用的人。父亲是一个勤勤恳恳的人，在他的多年感染下，我形成了勤奋好学、做事有始有终、认真、踏实的性格。学校环境：小学的教育环境很好，学校教育注重对学生实践能力的培养，引导学生热爱学习，并督促我们在德、智、体、美、劳各方面全面发展。从小我就参加学校的很多文艺和竞赛活动，并在活动中取得优异的成绩。
初中是一所乡镇中学，学校注重学生文化课的培养，会经常举办一些竞赛来加强我们的学习积极性，初中让我慢慢养成了对学习的严谨和持之以恒的态度。
我所就读的高中是丰润县一中（车轴山中学），那是一所拥有强大师资力量的高中，学习氛围十分浓厚，学生的整体素质也很高，在那里的三年求学让我储备了大量的知识，同时也把我培养成一个意志力坚强的人。
2007年我以570分的成绩成功的考入了河北工程大学经济管理学院。这所大学是一所二本学校，它注重学生能力的培养，为学生设计与规划了合理的学习和生活。在学校我加入了学生会，锻炼了一段时间后我提高了自己处理事情和组织活动的能力，并因工作成绩突出晋升为文艺部部长。在学习方面我的成绩一直很优秀，分别荣获一等、二等、三等奖学金，并获得“三好学生”的荣誉。大学让我融入到了半个社会中，我的思想慢慢趋于成熟，不再有年少时的浮躁与冲动，做事考虑仔细周全，为我毕业后走入社会塑造了良好的性格。学生时代个人评价：
总得来说，20年左右的学生时光是我一生最宝贵的财富。在学习文化知识的同时让我养成了很多好的品质——做事认真、严谨，性格开朗，与人处事融洽，对工作善始善终，具有良好的沟通能力和团队合作精神。思想上，我们通过学习马列主义、毛泽东思想和邓小平理论等使我更加坚定了中国共产党的领导，热爱我们的祖国，励志成为一个对社会有贡献的人。学习上，我储备了大量的基础文化知识和经济管理类的专业知识。能力上，我拥有了较强的学习本领、适应环境的本领以及与人沟通处事的本领。
